Watton 2s 5 - 0 Beccles (15/02/25)

This was a tough game against one of the high placed teams in the league. Watton were well drilled, young, and fast which made it a difficult match. Throughout the game, Beccles struggled to push forwards and attack but did have a few chances in the match and a few shots were made. Unfortunately these were all saved by the Watton goalie or stopped by their defenders.

Watton were an aggressive team and were very quick on the ball to maintain possession and regain possession from Beccles. This gave the Beccles defenders a lot to do to try and disrupt their attacks and stop goals. Although Watton managed to score 5 goals, the score line could have been a lot different if it wasn't for the fantastic effort by defenders Mandy, Hannah R, Sara, Tina and Marie. They worked hard along with goalie Lorraine to stop a lot shots and clear the ball out of the D, and dealt with a lot of high balls well.
